Dorothy Emily Haggerty, age 88, of Trumbull, passed away March 12, 2022 at Gardner Heights in Shelton, CT. Dorothy was born in Bridgeport, CT to the late Charles and Rosella Haggerty. She graduated from Laurelton High School and received her Bachelor's Degree from Barry College and her Master's Degree in teaching from Fairfield University. She was a retired school teacher for the City of Bridgeport, having worked at Waltersville and Florence Blackham Schools.
She is survived by several cousins including Barbara Seymour and Ray Brooks and his wife Maureen and several Godchildren.
Friends and family are invited to attend her funeral services on Thursday at 10:00 a.m. at the Cyril F. Mullins Funeral Home, 399 White Plains Rd. Trumbull and at 10:30 a.m. at St. Theresa Church, 5301 Main St. Trumbull, CT. Interment in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull, CT. Friends may pay their respects on Thursday from 9:15 a.m. to 10:00 a.m..
