Dolores Mary Lanaro

Dolores Mary Lanaro, age 93, of Shelton, CT passed away November 27, 2023. She was born in Bridgeport, CT to the late Daniel and Aseneth Weston. She worked for Sodexo-Marriott for many years Dolores loved to cook. She would always host an open house on Christmas Eve and cook her delicious manicotti and meatballs. Dolores was an avid reader and loved to do word find searches.  She loved to travel with family and friends.  Dolores was a sweet and kind person who touched many lives and will be missed. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Americo J. Lanaro. She is survived by her three children, John R. Lanaro and his wife Kathy. Lisa Docktor and her husband Edward and Lorraine Iversen and her husband Peter; four grandchildren Erin Olenoski (Dave), Glenn Docktor (Melissa), Chelsea Docktor and Shelby Widmer (Charlie), three great grandchildren Blake, Dylan, and Emry and several nieces and nephews. Friends are invited to pay their respects on Thursday from 5-8 p.m. at the Cyril F. Mullins Funeral Home, 399 White Plains Rd., Trumbull, CT. Funeral services will be private.
