Dolores Edith Colaiacomo

Dolores E. Colaiacomo, age 84, formerly of Bridgeport, CT passed away October 20, 2024 . She was born in Bridgeport, CT to the late Walter and Edythe Sammis.  She retired from the payroll department; Board of Education for the City of Bridgeport after many years of service. She was very active in Unity Hill United Church of Christ where she sang in the choir. 

She is survived by her brothers Walter Sammis and Merrill B. Sammis Sr., her niece Vanessa A. Masik and nephew Merrill B. Sammis Jr.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Phillip Colaiacomo and her son John C. Barnes.

Friends and family are invited to attend her funeral services on Friday at 12:00 pm. at  Unity Hill United Church of Christ, 364 White Plains Rd. Trumbull, with the Reverend Todd Shipley officiating. Interment to follow in Park Cemetery.
