Diana D. Steigauf

Diana D. Steigauf, age 81, of Stratford, CT, passed away on March 25, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. Diana was born in Milton, MA, to the late Francis M. and Helen Darcy. 

Diana retired as a paralegal in the financial services industry, having worked for American Skandia and Prudential Financial Services. Outside of her professional life, Diana spent many happy days boating and enjoying the beach. She was a longtime member of the Pequonnock Yacht Club and loved gathering with family and friends there.

Diana is survived by her husband Edward J. Steigauf; her daughters, Kristen Bartosic and her husband, Paul, and Tracy Schietinger and her husband, Bill; and five treasured grandchildren, Emily, Michael, and Christopher Bartosic, and Thomas and Darcy Schietinger. She also leaves behind her brother, Steven Darcy, nephews and cousins.

Diana was predeceased by her brother, Francis M. Darcy Jr.

Family and friends are invited to attend Diana’s funeral services on Saturday, March 29, 2025, at 12:00 p.m. at St. Stephen Church, 6948 Main St., Trumbull, CT 06611. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Greenwich EMS in her memory.
