Dell Frances Reed

With a heavy heart we are sad to announce that our beloved mother, Dell F. Carlo Reed 83, entered peacefully on December 30, 2022 into eternal rest. She was surrounded by her loving family. Born in New York, she went to Harding High School in CT.

She is survived by three daughters, Leisa Adiletta, Deena Capozzo and Michele Reed, two grandchildren, Frankie and Marissa Capozzo. She was the daughter of Concetta and Charles Carlo. She had three siblings, Jeanette Vetro, Fran Mason, who have now passed and her brother Frank Carlo who resides in VA.

 She was raised in Trumbull, CT then moved her family to FL.  After many years  they moved back to CT. In 1960, she was very proud of winning a Gina Lollobrigida look alike contest. That year she also won Miss Gran Carnevale beauty contest in FL.  Everyone that knew her said she had the best sense of humor. You instilled values in your children of love, understanding and strength.
Mommy, you will truly be missed. Now your soul will find rest.

 Church services will be held on Friday, January 6, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Theresa Church, 5301 Main St., Trumbull, CT followed by entombment in the family mausoleum at St. Michael's Cemetery,  2205 Stratford Ave. Stratford, CT. Flowers can be sent to church.
