David John Carvalho

David J. Carvalho, age 83, of Trumbull, CT,  passed away on June 12, 2024.  He was born in Tiverton, RI to the late John and Valentina (Souza) Carvalho.  He had a deep love of both BBQ and motorcycles.  His baby back ribs and pastrami were famous to all who tasted them and he enjoyed firing up the smoker grill to cook just about anything.  He enjoyed riding his Harley-Davidson trike and entered, and won, many competitions.  An associate member of the Red Knights CT Motorcycle Club VII, he was known as “Trike Dave”.  He also expressed his artistic side in woodworking, gardening, and the artwork vision for his trike.  He worked for many years managing the production shop for Waltman Screen Process, a silk screening and printing company, where he enjoyed inventing creative solutions for challenging jobs.

He was predeceased by his beloved wife Nancy Carvalho and his siblings Jennifer Belisle and John C. Carvalho.

He is survived by his devoted daughter Andrea Carvalho, his loving sister Priscilla Rapoza and her husband Ronnie, and his brother Robert H. Carvalho.

Services will be private.
