Catherine Sorge

Catherine (Kay) Grogan Sorge, age 91, of Trumbull, passed away peacefully November 21, 2021 at Bridgeport Hospital. Kay was born in Bridgeport, CT and was a lifelong area resident.  Her greatest joy was spending time with her husband, children and grandchildren.  Kay was predeceased by her beloved husband Anthony William Sorge Sr., her granddaughter Ana Sorge and her siblings, Jack Grogan, Margaret Maney, Alice Ervin,  David Grogan DDS, Mary Magner and Joseph Grogan DDS.
 She is survived by her devoted children, Bernadette Gonzalez and her husband Ramon, Alisa Angela Stollman and her husband Hunter, Anthony William Sorge Jr. and his wife Daryl, John Damian Sorge, Gregory Sorge and his wife Brenda and Julie Ann Hochenberger and her husband Steven, six loving grandchildren Pilar, Catherine, Anthony III, Daniel, Dawn, Rose and Liam, four cherished great grandchildren Calvin, Charlie, Kayleigh and Madison, her brother-in-law Dr. Dominick Sorge and his wife Helene, her sister-in-laws Mary Sorge and Arlene Grogan and many nieces and nephews.
Friends and family are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Monday, November 29, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Catherine of Siena Church, 220 Shelton Rd. Trumbull CT. The mass will be live streamed from https://stcathtrumbull.com.  Interment to follow in St. Michael's Cemetery, Stratford CT. Friends may pay their respects on Monday from 9:00 - 10:15 a.m. for a walk through wake at the Cyril F. Mullins Funeral Home, 399 White Plains Rd. Trumbull, CT. Masks are required.
