Bill Kintop Obituary

Walter William (Bill) Kintop, passed away Friday, February 26, 2021 at the young age of 61. He is survived by his two daughters, Aubrey (Kintop) Sepko and husband John Sepko, and Taylor Kintop and boyfriend Bryan Cardinelli, his two supportive sisters, Laura Balusek and Ellen Kintop, his loving girlfriend, Liliana Pesce, and countless friends and family members.

Bill lived in the Trumbull area for his whole life. He attended Trumbull High School and was a proud member of the THS football team - winning the 1977-78 State Championship.

Bill was a tech guy who spent the bulk of his career working for NEC. He was fortunate to travel extensively visiting 48 of the 50 states. As a man who never shied away from adventure, he especially loved his trips to Aspen and fly fishing the Snake River. Volunteering was a passion of his, as over the years he was a volunteer firefighter in Nichols, pop-warner football coach, and ski instructor for Leaps of Faith Adaptive Skiers. Known for being a DIY'er, Bill was always handy - yet never followed a single set of instructions and always had some spare parts.

On summer days, you could always find Bill out on his boat on Lake Lillinonah, surrounded by his family and friends. He also loved snow skiing, cheering on the Patriots, and driving around listening to his favorite tunes. Bill was best known for the love he had for his daughters; a true 'girl dad' - he was always supportive of their dreams and accomplishments. Bill was always the first to lend a hand. He will be tremendously missed and we know his legacy will live on through all of his family and friends.

Friends and family are invited to attend a walk through wake, (MASKS are required) on Tuesday, March 2nd, from 4-7pm, at the Cyril F. Mullins Funeral Home, 399 White Plains Trumbull, CT.  Graveside service will be private.  Donations can be made in Bill's name to Leaps of Faith Adaptive Skiiers at http://lofadaptiveskiers.org as we hope to host an event in his honor this summer.
