Barry Michael Borwick

It is with great sadness that the Borwick family announces the death of their beloved father and husband. Barry Michael Borwick, age 68, of Trumbull, passed away on Tuesday, April 13, 2021 in St. Vincent's Medical Center. 

Born on February 26, 1953 in Brooklyn, NY he was the son of the late Leah Lutsky and Martin Borwick. He is also predeceased by his sister, Louise Borwick. Barry grew up on Staten Island and later returned to Brooklyn where he met his wife Carol. They were wed on June 12, 1981 and moved to Connecticut to start a family. He was a loving and devoted father to his two children Lauren and Michael. He will also be missed by his dog and companion Jasper. 

Barry touched the lives of many people with his smile and outgoing personality. Despite his declining health over the past few years, Barry remained a spiritual person and always had a positive outlook on life. Aside from spending time with his family, Barry enjoyed the sport of soccer; he attended all of his kids’ matches and coached his son’s team. He liked leather-working, bird-watching and being outdoors doing yard work. Each morning, Barry would dutifully feed his menagerie of wild birds that would come to his feeders and send out “Good Morning!” messages to his many friends. His greatest passion was the beach; from family vacations on Cape Cod to romantic getaways with his wife Carol in Aruba. He will be dearly missed by all that knew him.

Friends and family are invited to attend his funeral services on Friday at 3:00 p.m. at the Cyril F. Mullins Funeral Home, 399 White Plains Rd. Trumbull.
