Barbara Chameides

Barbara Chameides, age 89, of Shelton, CT passed away June 1, 2024. She was born in Bronx, NY to the late Tobias and Anna Samkoff. In her earlier years, Barbara graduated Temple University and made a career as a dental hygienist. She enjoyed needlepoint, ping pong, taking trips to NYC especially to see Broadway plays, and a good Manhattan.

She was predeceased by her husband M. Alan Chameides and her brother Max Samkoff.

Survivors include her sons David Chameides of Torrington and Steven and Holly Chameides of Seymour, her cherished grandchildren Benjamin, Ashley and Sam.
