Armandine Moore

Armandine M. (Doiron) Moore, age 93, of Bridgeport, CT., loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend passed away March 11, 2021 surrounded by her children in her home. Her legacy of kindness, love, respect and giving nature will live on through her family. Armandine was born in a small fishing and farming village in Paquetville, New Brunswick Canada, daughter of the late Charles and Georgiana (Boudreau) Doiron. She lived in Montreal, Canada before moving to Bridgeport, CT in 1950 and becoming a United States citizen. She worked at Remington Rand as an assembler until marrying and starting her family. She returned to the workforce once her children all started school as a waitress at Valley’s Steakhouse until its closing. She then worked for the restaurant in DM Read’s, Trumbull, CT.  Armandine ended her career at Portobello’s, a small family restaurant in Huntington Center, CT. In retirement, Armandine enjoyed staying active. She was an avid gardener, loved to read, enjoyed sewing and quilting, and loved to cook for and spend time with her family.  
Armandine was predeceased by her beloved husband Robert J. Moore Sr, her siblings, Priscille Hache, Edmond Doiron, Emile Doiron, Laura Theriault, and Liniere Doiron; and her stepson Robert J. Moore Jr. She is survived by her children Linda J. Laires, husband John, Lisa M. Plucinski, Sean M. Moore, wife Holly; step children Karen Xarras, Robbie Hoffman, husband Jack; siblings Estelle Brideau, Adelbert Doiron and Beatrice Blanchard; grandchildren Lauren M. Bedoya, Shannon M. Silva, husband Eric, and Clayton K. Moore. Services will be private. Arrangements in care of the Cyril F. Mullins Funeral Home, 399 White Plains Rd.
