Sarah-Ellen DeVorak, age 56, of Trumbull, beloved daughter of Lilybeth (Jagoe) DeVorak and the late Joseph DeVorak, died peacefully on June 21, 2017 after a brief illness at Regional Hospice in Danbury, CT. Sarah was a lifelong Trumbull resident, a graduate of Saint Theresa School, Saint Joseph High School and Southern Connecticut State University. She was employed for 30 + years at Child and Family Guidance Center in Fairfield and Bridgeport. Sarah was an avid fan of the New York Yankees, New York Giants, New York Rangers and New York Islanders, first year season ticket holder of the Bridgeport Sound Tigers, gracing the seats in Section 105 Row E. Sarah also knitted and crocheted afghans, prayer shawls and  needle point crosses for Saint Theresa Prayer Shawl Ministry. Sarah loved vacationing  at Disney World and spending time with her family.  She is lovingly survived by mother Lilybeth DeVorak, brother Joseph DeVorak and his wife Claudia, nephews Trey and Joseph, her sister Beth Hayden and her husband Walter, nephews James, Christopher, and Timothy. Friends may call on Monday, June 26  at the Cyril F. Mullins Funeral Home, 399 White Plains Rd. Trumbull, CT from 4-8 p.m.  Catholic Funeral Mass at St. Theresa Church, 5301 Main St. Trumbull on Tuesday, June 27, at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be private.
