Ruth C Samu

Ruth C. (Drury) Samu, age 78, of Bridgeport, passed away December 22, 2018 at Bridgeport Hospital. Mrs. Samu  was born in Bridgeport to the late Eugene Henry (Hudson) and Helen (Traverse) Drury.  She was one of 18 children. Mrs. Samu was a retired employee of Marshall's Department Store.  Survivors include her two loving daughters Charlin McCreery and her husband David and Susan Fedak and her husband Gregory; her stepdaughter Alice Kelley; her siblings  Beverly Nickerson, Thomas Drury, Robert Drury, Helen, Lilli Mae ,and Gerry Twitchell; three grandchildren David Carleton, Michelle Delorme and Vannah Voccola; three great granddaughters; one great grandson and many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.  She was predeceased by several siblings. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Friends and famiy are invited to attend her funeral services on Saturday, December 29, 2018 at 11:00  a.m. at the Cyril F.
