On Wednesday, August 2, 2017, Rosa Iemolo of Trumbull, was relieved of her pain and suffering while being surrounded by her family.
Rosa was born on October 10, 1929 in Mazzarrone, Sicily, Italy. She was the youngest of 5 siblings. 
Rosa met her beloved husband in a small town in Sicily. Together they had a daughter and moved to America in 1966. Bridgeport, CT became their new home where she became a machinist for a number of years before retiring. Rosa was a truly dedicated and loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She loved to cook and you could tell because her passion and love came through in all of her food. Everyone loved her meatballs. Family was everything to her as she was happiest when surrounded by them and enjoyed spending time with her grand children and great grandchildren.
Her strength and hard work are an inspiration to everyone. She will be greatly missed and never forgotten for her warm smile and personality.
Rosa is survived by her husband of 66 years Giuseppe of Trumbull, daughter and son-in- law, Rosann and Mike Liberatore of Trumbull, her grandchildren, Stacie Rich and her husband Ron of Shelton, Mike Liberatore and his wife Gina of Trumbull and Daniela Liberatore also of Trumbull, her great grandchildren: Ronnie, Tyler, Michael and Matteo.
Family and friends are invited to attend her funeral services on Saturday August 5 at  9:30 a.m. at the Cyril F. Mullins Funeral Home, 399 White Plains Rd. Trumbull and at 10:00 a.m. at St. Catherine of Siena Church, 220 Shelton Rd. Trumbull. Interment in Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Friends may call on Saturday morning from 8:30 a.m. until the time of service.
