Roger Henri Laneuville Sr. age 79, of Trumbull, passed away January 19, 2018 in his home surrounded by his family. Mr. Laneuville was born in Lewiston, ME to the late Henry and Beatrice Laneuville. He was a Trumbull resident for 53 years. After moving to Connecticut, he was employed with General Electric as a dip forming technician. He was a longtime employee for the Town of Trumbull. He was in the National Guard and the Army Reserve. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and neighbor. He was always the first to lend a helping hand to others. His enjoyments in life were spending time with his family, gardening and sitting on his front porch visiting and talking politics. He is survived by his beloved wife of 57 years Joline Boissonneault Laneuville; four devoted children Roger (Izabela) Laneuville, Gary Laneuville, Norman (Annette) Laneuville and Nancy Shairer and predeascent by his son, Robert Laneuville; six cherished grandchildren Jackie, Christina, Jonathan, Branden, Jessica, and Nicole; three loving great grandchildren Christian, Gianni, and Madelyn and many nieces and nephews. Friends and family are invited to attend his funeral services on Wednesday at 10:15 a.m. at the Cyril F. Mullins Funeral Home, 399 White Plains Rd. Trumbull and at 11:00 a.m. at St. Theresa Church, 5301 Main St. Trumbull. Interment in Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Friends may call on Tuesday 4-8 pm.
