Paulette Jeanne Marie (Oillic) Ziembroski passed from this life peacefully at Lower Cape Fear Hospice Wilmington N.C. on July 29, 2017. She was predeceased by her husband John. She leaves behind her loving daughter Janice Kenney and her son-in-law Kevin; three grandsons Thomas, Jason and Erik whom she adored. Her world revolved around "Her Boys". Paulette was born in Paris, France on January 20, 1922. She lived in France through WWII and received her R.N. degree with the Sisters of Bon Secours. At the age of 29, she entered into the USA where she met her husband John. Together they lived in Huntington, CT for over 50 years. For almost 30 yrs. she was a nurse at Park City Hospital and in her later life loved to recall memories from those days. Her passion for knitting was one of her favorite pastimes and she enjoyed teaching her Grandniece Claire her skills in her final years. Her last couple years were spent in North Carolina with her daughter and she really enjoyed her adventures out with them. She will be greatly missed by her family here and in France but lived a full and enjoyable life. Family and friends are invited to attend her funeral services on Friday 9:15 a.m. at the Cyril F. Mullins Funeral Home, 399 White Plains Rd. Trumbull and at 10:00 a.m. at St. Jude's Church, 707 Monroe Turnpike Monroe, CT. Interment in St. John's Cemetery Monroe. Friends may call on Thursday from 4-7 p.m. at the Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to Lower Cape Fear Hospice 1414 Physicians Drive Wilmington,N.C.28401
