Patricia Louise Tavares, age 75, of Bridgeport, passed away with her loving family by her side on July 7, 2017 at the Jewish Home. She was born in New Bedford, MA to the late George and Elizabeth Joseph. Patricia was a dedicated employee of Union Trust Bank for over 20 years. She was a brownie troop leader for many years and enjoyed camping, and Reiki at the Jewish Home, where she was very involved. Survivors include her daughter Lori Skyer and her husband Bruce of Trumbull; her son Mark Tavares and his wife Teresa of New Hampshire and her grandsons, Raymond and Benjamin Skyer. Friends and family are invited to attend her funeral services on Monday at 12:00 p.m. at St. Stephen's Church, 6948 Main St. Trumbull. Interment at St. Mary's Cemetery in New Bedford, MA. Memorial contributions may be made to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society at nationalmssociety.org. Arrangements in care of the Cyril F. Mullins Funeral Home, 399 White Plains Rd. Trumbull. .
