Mary Reagan Keogh, age 81, of Shelton, passed away peacefully at Bridgeport Hospital January 31, 2019 surrounded by her family’s love. Mary was born on February 26, 1937 in North Tonawanda, NY. She was the daughter of the late Alice Collins Reagan and Dr. Robert P. Reagan.
Mary graduated from Mount Saint Mary’s Academy in Kenmore,NY in 1954 and Georgetown University School of Nursing in 1958. She enjoyed being active in maintaining alumni connections and attending reunions.
Mary was a devout Catholic, strongly committed to her faith. In addition to attending daily mass, Mary spent many wonderful years volunteering at St. Joseph’s High School Trumbull and was very active in her local parish and Lady's Guild.
Mary will be fondly remembered for her dry wit and sassy sense of humor. Mary’s friendship circle was tight and everlasting. If you were "in", it was for life.
Mary devoted her life to raising her family. She was a stay at home Mom until her four beloved children were adults. Mary worked as RN/Office Manager for Dr. Raymond J Keogh until her forced retirement in 2015.
She was predeceased by her son, James Keogh and her brother Christopher Reagan. She is survived by her three loving daughters, Catharine Santella of Shelton, Patricia Lutzo of Fairfield, Kerry Gluck and her husband Ken of Mount Juliet, Tennessee; her brother Dr. Thomas Reagan and his wife Linda and her sister Catharine Higgins; five cherished grandchildren, Claire, Devan and Garret Lutzo; Colby and Tyler Gluck; and her many nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to attend her funeral services on Wednesday, Feb 6 at 9:15 a.m. at Cyril F. Mullins Funeral Home, 399 White Plains Road Trumbull and at 10:00 a.m. at St Stephen’s Church, 6948 Main Street Trumbull. Interment in Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
