Mary Frances Gallagher

Mary Frances Gallagher age 87, of Trumbull, passed away on March 31, 2018, surrounded by her family. She was born in Arkansas; was a long time Trumbull resident, and worked as a registered nurse at St. Joseph's Manor and The Jewish Home.  She and her beloved husband, Jay, raised their family and relished time with their children and grandchildren.  She is survived by her three children: Karen Gallagher of Southbury, Kevin Gallagher and his wife Mary of Trumbull, Keith Gallagher and his fiance Joanne Giorgio-Chapleau of Danbury; her brother Bernard Knoppe and his wife Susan of Bardstown, KY; her grandchildren, Caity and her husband Max, Jack, Kelly, William, Danielle, Braeden and Gillian; and several nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by her husband Jay Gallagher and her two daughters: Erin (Gallagher) Coughlin and Denise Gallagher. Friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial directly at St. Theresa Church on Wednesday, April 4th at 11:00 a.m., 5301 Main St., Trumbull. Interment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery.  In lieu of calling hours, the family requests a remembrance in prayer and a random act of kindness in your community.  Memorial contributions may be made to The Alzheimer's Association at alz.org. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Cyril F. Mullins Funeral Home 399 White Plains Rd. Trumbull.
