Mary Mona Driggs

Mary Mona (Slowey) Driggs, age 86, of Trumbull, passed away March 6, 2018 at Bridgeport Hospital. Mrs. Driggs was born in Canada to the late Bernard and Ada Slowey. She and her beloved husband of  68 years were the proprietors of Taylor Rental. She was a devoted caretaker, as family was of utmost importance to her. Mrs. Driggs was also proud of her Irish Heritage. Her favorite pastime was spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband she is survived by her three loving children James and his wife Joan of Fairfied, Dr. Johna Zitnay and her husband Bob of Trumbull and Jamie Driggs of MD; her brother Francis Slowey, her sister Mary Fox; 9 cherished grandchildren James, Lauren, Ryan, Katherine, Bridget, Mac, Morgan, Nolan, and Jackie; 10 loving great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sister Joyce Dunn.  Friends and family are invited to attend her funeral services on Friday March 9, 2018 at 1:30 p.m. directly at St. Thomas Church, 1719 Post Rd. Fairfield. Interment will be private. Friends may greet the family on Friday at the church from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service. Arrangements in care of the Cyril F.
