Margaret M. Simmons (Molinaro) age 92, a homemaker of Easton, previously of Monroe passed away on November 27, 2017. Mrs. Simmons was born on July 4, 1925 in Carbondale, PA to the late Anthony and Catherine (Cerra) Molinaro and was a longtime area resident. She was predeceased by her husband, Harold Simmons Sr. and her son Harold Simmons Jr., her sisters Natalie Molinaro and Rita D. Danis and brother Bernard Molinaro. Survivors include her devoted daughter Jean Sandone and her husband William of Easton, a brother Angelo Molinaro of Olyphant, PA and devoted Daughter-in-law Margaret A. Simmons of Monroe. Four grandchildren, Shawn Simmons and his wife Katrina, Misty Batista and her husband Luis, Becky Schwartz and her husband Kenneth, and Natalie Sandone. Seven great-grandchildren, Deanna, Daniel and Emily Batista, Brody and Cooper Simmons, Eleanor and Adeline Schwartz and many Nieces and Nephews. The family would like to give special thanks to the nursing staff of the 10th floor North, Pallative care and VITAS at St. Vincent's Medical Center for their special care given to Margaret. Friends and family are invited to attend her funeral services on Thursday at 11:00 a.m. at the Cyril F. Mullins Funeral Home, 399 White Plains Rd. Trumbull. Interment in Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Friends may call on Wednesday from 4-8 p.m.
