Margaret Maiolo Nolan, age 95, of Shelton and formerly of Trumbull, passed away November 8, 2017 in Bishop Wicke Heath Care Center. She was born in Bridgeport to the late Nicholas and Rachel Maiolo. Mrs. Nolan retired from the U.S. Postal service after many years of service. After her retirement she worked for Frances's Bakery. She was active in the Trumbull Community as a longtime member of the women's auxiliary at the Long Hill Fire Department and ran the Bingo in Trumbull for many years. She was predeceased by her husband Joseph Gilbert Nolan. Survivors include her three sons Joseph Nolan of Atlanta, GA, Robert Nolan of Shelton and Gary Nolan and his wife Maureen of Stratford; her sister Frances Cronk of Stratford; four loving grandchildren Meghan, Elizabeth, Sean and Kevin; five cherished great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Friends and family are invited to attend her funeral services on Monday at 9:15 a.m. at the Cyril F. Mullins Funeral Home, 399 White Plains Rd. Trumbull and at 10:00 a.m. at Christ the King Church, 4700 Madison Ave. Trumbull. Interment in Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
