The family of Margaret Mary Figerle (Murray) of Stratford sadly mourn the passing of their mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, on Sunday, October 8, 2017. Margaret was born in Dublin, Ireland on August 2, 1923 to the late Christopher and Elizabeth (Stone) Murray. She was the youngest of 13 and was predeceased by 12 brothers and sisters. In 1941, Mom moved to Oxford, England to assist with the war effort. While in Oxford, she met her future husband George M. Figerle, Sr., an American soldier (who predeceased her in October, 1994). Also, predeceased by son-in-law Lawrence R. Barrett.

In her late 80s, Mom joined Facebook to follow the activities of her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, friends, and her special nieces and nephew in Ireland and England. Mom enjoyed bowling with her friends, crocheting, knitting, watching the BBC channel, reading, attending Sunday mass, watching Jeopardy with her son, and having a cup of tea with her family and friends.
