Lynn A. Rouleau

Lynn (Mac Donald) Rouleau, age 57, of Trumbull, passed away peacefully on December 28, 2018 after a long battle with pancreatic cancer. She was the beloved wife of Norman A. Rouleau for 34 years. She was born in Bridgeport, daughter of the late William and Sylvia MacDonald.  She graduated from Trumbull High School and received her certification in Dental Assisting from JM Wright Technical School in Stamford, CT. Employed by Drs. Cody and Conlon in Stratford, she remained with Dr. Conlon for 17 years until the birth of her son Daniel; thereupon realizing a lifetime dream of becoming a mother. In the ensuing years, she enjoyed raising Daniel, making friends and spending time with family. In her own words, Lynn "was fortunate to live an ordinary life surrounded by extraordinary people". She is forever grateful to Dr. Ronika Choudhary who gave her the chance to return to the working world until her diagnosis. She was active in the community, serving on the P.T.A. and driving for Road to Recovery (an American Cancer Society organization). She is survived by her devoted and hard working husband Norman A. Rouleau; her loving son Daniel Rouleau who brought her such joy; her brother William MacDonald; her mother-in-law Rita Rouleau; her Brother-in-laws Henry, Donald Rouleau; her Sister-in-law Linda Conley and husband William; her nieces and nephews, who she cherished as her own children, William Jr. and Ashley MacDonald, Maria and Adam Hanson, Rebecca and Chris Dominguez, Michael and Valerie MacDonald, Jillian Rouleau and Jarad Synn, and Shannon Conley; her great-nieces and nephews Hanna, Billy, Teresa, and Lena; her special cousin Nancy Boccuzzi and husband Elio; and her very special Aunt, Dorothy Allen. Lynn wishes to thank her friends and family for all their love and support, Dr. Ronika Choudhary, Dr. Glenn Rich, Dr. Fischbach, Dr. Butler, Dr. Pollack, and the amazing and caring staff at Smilow who helped her gain days and memories she did not think she would have. Friends and family are invited to attend her funeral services on Friday, Jan. 4  at 10:15 a.m. at the Cyril F. Mullins Funeral Home, 399 White Plains Rd. Trumbull and at 11:00 a.m. at St. Catherine of Siena Church (McClinch Family Center), 220 Shelton Rd. Trumbull, CT. Interment to follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, 1056 Daniels Farm Rd.
