Ludwig Pudimat, age 86, of Trumbull, passed away November 10, 2017 in his home surrounded by his loving family. Mr. Pudimat was born in Lithuania, raised in Germany, and immigrated to the US in 1951. He was a master mechanic and service manager for J.C.Bednar Motors in Bridgeport and Stahls' in Derby. He was a US Army veteran during the Korean Conflict and a member of the American Legion Post 200. In his earlier years, Mr. Pudimat was an active member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Bridgeport, the Germania Schwaben Club and the Germania Sports Club. He is survived by his beloved wife of 62 years Lydia Krause Pudimat of  Trumbull; four devoted children Paul Pudimat and his wife Mary Ann of Salem, CT, David Pudimat and his wife Elizabeth of Pittsburgh, PA, Lisa Filion and her husband Scott of Cheshire, CT and Karin Wlcek and her husband Peter of Shelton,CT; his loving sister Emma Luther and her husband Ronald of Ansonia, CT; ten cherished grandchildren Anna, Sara, Nathanael, Rachael, Andrew, Paul, David, Laura, Alexander and Rebecca;  and many nieces and nephews.  He was predeceased by his brothers Alexander, Albert, and Adolf Pudimat; and his sisters Emily Palshis and Martha Sudhoff. The family is grateful for the excellent care provided by The Connecticut Hospice.  Friends and family are invited to attend a Memorial Service on Saturday, November 18, 2017  at 11:00 a.m.  at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 406 White Plains Rd. Trumbull with the Reverend Dr. Kathleen Mills officiating. Interment to follow.  Arrangements in care of the Cyril F. Mullins Funeral Home, 399 White Plains Rd. Trumbull. In lieu of flowers, please make a memorial contribution to Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, Trumbull.
