Lawrence Donovan

Lawrence T. Donovan, age 95, a retired security guard of Shelton, entered into rest on Tuesday, June 14, 2019 at Shelton Lakes Assisted Living. Lawrence was born in Waterbury on August 1, 1923, oldest son of the late Lawrence P. and Dorothy (Dayton) Donovan. He was originally from Bridgeport and Stratford before moving to Shelton. He was an Army veteran of WWII. Survivors include his daughters Kathleen Donovan and Patricia Champagne; his son Robert Donovan; two grandsons, one granddaughter, two great grandsons, two great granddaughters and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Also survived by dear friend Arlene Fields and her husband. In addition to his parents he was predeceased by his wife Pearl Thomslin, his daughter Elizabeth, two brothers Robert and John Donovan and his sister Dorothy Doolin. Graveside services will be held on Thursday, September 12th at 12:00 p.m. at St. Michael's Cemetery. Memorial contributions my be made to the American Heart Association, the American  Diabetes Assoc. or the  Alzheimer's Assoc.
