Janet was such a lovely woman with so much spirit and talent. She was so kind to all of us kids when we played at your house and I'm sure made a mess of things. I always thought of her smiling, cooking delicious Swedish things, and singing. What a wonderful life she had. My condolences to Howard, Donna, Bob, and especially my dear friend Julie who adored her mother for her talent and open mind. My thoughts are with you all..

I always enjoyed seeing Janet because she never stopped smiling! She always made everybody around her feel so welcome and special and she always took time to chat. I love the story that she was the first Lucia to NOT wear lighted candles on her crown.
She was another one of those strong, kind Lind women who were such good role models for the rest of us. I will miss her.

I feel blessed to have met your Mom (and your Dad) just last month. My thought upon leaving your house was, "Gee, I'd like to go back to spend more time with these folks." There was something so engaging and real about Janet. Intergenerational friendships are important, and I am honored to have called her my friend, if only for a short time.
