Helen Woods

Helen Littwar Woods, age 69, of Trumbull, passed away May 25, 2018 in her home surrounded by her loving family. Mrs. Woods was born in Scotland, daughter of the late James and Isabelle Chisholm. She was the proprietor of Miss Helen's Daycare Center for over 14 years. A longtime member of the Nichols United Methodist Church, she was active in the community, organizing meals for the less fortunate at the Golden Hill United Methodist Church soup kitchen. She is survived by her husband Robert G. Woods Sr.; four children Robert G. Woods Jr. and his wife Jessica, Rasheeda Woods, James Woods and Markeese Woods; her brother Alex Chisholm; her sister Isabelle Saunders and her husband Wayne; three grandchildren Nicholas, Natalia and Adrianna Woods and many nieces and nephews. Friends and family are invited to attend a Memorial Service on Wednesday, May 30, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at the Nichols United Methodist Church, 35 Shelton Rd. Trumbull. Arrangements are in care of the Cyril F. Mullins Funeral Home, 399 White Pains Rd. Trumbull.
