Giovanna C. Iemolo

Giovanna C. Iemolo age 79, of Shelton, passed away on March 25, 2018 at Yale New Haven Hospital with her family by her side. She was born in Italy to the late Giovanni and Francesca Bocchieri. She enjoyed spending time with family and preparing an elaborate lunch, dinner, and holiday meals. There were always cannoli and cream puffs. Family was her main priority. That was always evident especially when her grandchildren were around.  She is survived by her husband Giovanni of 60 years; her children Roseann Chandler and her husband Jeffrey of Orange, Leticia Vives  and her husband Manfred of Ansonia, Mike Iemolo and his wife Sara of Shelton; her brother Salvatore Bocchieri and his wife Enza of Italy; her nine grandchildren Chris, Sam, Daniel, Julia, Sarah, Rebecca, Jessica, Madalynn and Mason; her three great-grandchildren Owen, Holden and Ella. Friends are invited to attend her funeral service on Wednesday at 10:15 a.m. at the Cyril F. Mullins Funeral Home, 399 White Plains Rd. Trumbull, and at 11:00 a.m. at St. Lawrence Church 505 Shelton Avenue. Entombment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Friends may greet the family on Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service.
