Eugene M. Fedak Sr. age 89, of Monroe, passed away July 24, 2018. Mr. Fedak was born in Tuscarora, PA to the late George and Anna Fedak. He was a retired supervisor for Carpenter Technology for over 30 years. He was a member of the Carpenter Technology Quarter Century Club and the Retirees. He was very active at St. John's Church where he was affectionately known as the "Pickle Man" and a member of the St. John's Rosary Society. Mr. Fedak was a Navy Veteran in the Korean Conflict, a member of the V.F.W. Post 145 and the American Legion Post 143, and the Monroe Senior Center. He was predeceased by his first wife Ann Tomeo Fedak and his siblings Paul, John, George and Daniel Fedak, Steve Chinchar and Elizabeth Sweeney and his son-in-law John Roscoe. Survivors include his beloved wife Martha Riffon Marsh Fedak; one son, Eugene M. Fedak Jr., two daughters, Mary Ann Roscoe and Jean Marie and her husband Clifford Lydiksen; one step-daughter Donna Marie and her husband Patrick Herrmann; seven grandchildren John Roscoe Jr., Justin and Anthony Roscoe, Jena, Corey, Cali, and Colin Lydiksen; three step grandchildren Martyann Demro, Amy Jean Hooper and Clinton Herrmann; great grandson Jackson Pellacchia; step great-grandchildren David and June Demro and Willy Hooper. Friends and family are invited to attend his funeral service on Saturday at 12:30 p.m. at St. John's Byzantine Catholic Church, 100 St. John's Dr. Trumbull, CT. Interment in Mountain Grove of Easton Cemetery. Friends may call on Friday from 4-8 p.m. at the Cyril F. Mullins Funeral Home, 399 White Plains Rd. Trumbull. Panachida Service on Friday at 5:30 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to St. John's Byzantine Catholic Church.
