Elsie Marie Salito, age 95, of Stratford, passed away July 5, 2017 at St. Vincent's Medical Center. Mrs. Salito was born in Toronto, Canada to the late Ernest and Mary Foster. She enjoyed painting, dancing and spending time with her family. She was predeceased by her husband Vincent J. Salito Sr., her siblings Anna Foisy, Kathleen Cochran and Ernest Foster Jr., her daughter-in-law Deborah Salito and her grandson Richard Salito. Survivors include three sons Vincent J. (Annette) Salito Jr. and Richard E. Salito all of Stratford and David A. (Valerie) Salito of Trumbull; four grandchildren Jennifer, Nicole, Lauren and Carolyn; four great-grandchildren Vincent, Michael, Joanna and Jessica and many nieces and nephews. Friends and family are invited to attend her funeral services on Tuesday at 9:15 a.m. at the Cyril F. Mullins Funeral Home, 399 White Plains Rd., Trumbull and at 10:00 a.m. at St. Mark's Church, 500 Wigwam Lane, Stratford. Interment in Nichols Village Cemetery. Friends may call on Monday from 4-8 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Christopher and Dana Reeve Foundation at www.christopherreeve.org.
