Dorothy I. Marchette

Dorothy Irene Marchette, passed away May 9, 2018. She  was born Feb. 14, 1923 in Bridgeport, CT, daughter of the late John and Mary Marchetti. Dorothy worked  for General Electric as an executive secretary in the European Legal Dep't at Stamford and Fairfield, CT and N.Y.C. offices during her 30 years of service. She loved reading, music and travel, having seen most of the U.S. and several European countries. She had many friends and cherished her family. Dorothy was predeceased by a brother John E. Donald Marchetti (Carole) of Old Greenwich, CT and Brownsville, TX; four nieces and one nephew: Liza Zyskowski (Robert), Lynne Stiverson (Kent) , Ronald Marchetti (Anita), Valerie Ginicola (Sam) and Christine Rollo.  Friends and family are invited to attend her funeral services on Monday at 10:15 a.m. at the Cyril F. Mullins Funeral Home, 399 White Plains Rd. Trumbull and at 11:00 a.m. at St. Andrew's Church, Anton St. Bpt.  Interment in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull. Friends may call on Monday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service. Memorial contributions may be made to the Carolton Convalescent Home, 400 Mill Plain Rd. Fairfield, CT 06824.
