MANNING – Donald Francis Tobin, Sr., 84, husband of Sheila Louise Harkins Tobin, died Tuesday, June 20, 2017, at McLeod Hospice House.
Born September 11, 1932, in Somerville, MA, he was a son of the late Walter Tobin, Sr. and the late Reita White Tobin. He was a US Army veteran of the Korean War. 
He is survived by his wife of Manning; five sons, Donald F. Tobin, Jr. (Lilly) of Naugatuck, CT, James M. Tobin, Sr. (Ruth) of West Haven, CT, Gary P. Tobin (Darlene) of Derby, CT, Robert W. Tobin (Bridget) of Deep River, CT and Thomas W. Tobin (Candy) of Terryville, CT; three daughters, Donna M. O’Neill of Manning, Linda P. Haigh (Richard) of Orange, CT and Kathryn M. Walker of Manning; a stepson, Manuel J. Raposa (Jeanne) of Sebring, FL; three stepdaughters, Robin L. Menoche (Jerry) of Burrillville, RI, Ellen J. Gaipo and Cathy Bailey Fairfield (Mark), both of Sebring, FL; eighteen grandchildren; five step grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren; six step great grandchildren; a brother, Thomas Tobin of Dorchester, MA; a sister, Rita “Peggy” Coon of Brick, NJ; many nieces and nephews; and his beloved dog, “Mr. Wiggles”.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Florence “Pat” Tobin; two brothers, Walter Tobin and Richard Tobin; and two sisters, Janet Tobin and Joanie Pike.
 A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, July 22, 2017 at the  Cyril F. Mullins Funeral Home, 399 White Plains Road, Trumbull, CT.
 Visitation will be held from 8:30 to 10 a.m. prior to service. Inurnment will follow in the Mountain Grove Cemetery in Easton, CT.
 A celebration of life service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, July 22, 2017, at the home of his daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Richard Haigh, 460 Yellow Brick Road, Orange, CT 06477.
