Dolores L. Kalakay

Dolores L. (Hall) Kalakay, age 76, of Shelton, passed away on September 29, 2018 at St. Vincent's Medical Center. She was born and raised in Bridgeport, CT and spent her last years as a Shelton resident. She was a member of the Red Hat Society and the Shelton Senior Center. She loved to swim at the Shelton Community Center and enjoyed going to the casino and playing bingo with her Senior Center friends. Dolores was a breast cancer survivor; whom her family would like to thank St. Vincent's Swim Across The Sound Foundation and VITAS Healthcare for helping her be as comfortable as possible until falling into eternal rest. 
She is survived by her husband Joseph Kalakay of Shelton; her two daughters Theresa Adams of Huntington and Cynthia Kalakay of Bridgeport; her brother John Hall and his wife Lisa of Naugatuck; her uncle Luis Bagach and his wife of Fairfield; her grandchildren Timothy James and his wife Alexis Marie, Theresa Marie, Taylor Lynne; and her great-grandchild Aria Marie of Huntington. Friends are invited to attend her memorial service on Friday October 5th, 2018 at the Huntington Congregational Church, 19 Church St. Shelton, CT 06484 at 2:00 p.m. with the Reverend Lucille Fritz officiating. Interment will be private. Arrangements are in care of the Cyril F. Mullins Funeral Home, 399 White Plains Rd. Trumbull.
