Chansy Sackda Obituary

Chansy Sackda, age 67, of Bridgeport, passed away April 14, 2018 at St. Joseph's Manor. Mrs. Sackda was born in Xayaboury, Laos to the late  Phou and Chanpheng Mecksavanh and was a longtime Bridgeport resident. She was a retired quality inspector. She was a devout Buddhist, visiting many temples in the area including Wat Lao Kittisilaram Temple (Bridgeport) and Buddha Ariyamettaram Temple (Morris). She enjoyed crocheting blankets and hats for friends and family members. 
She is survived by her beloved husband Nuheng Sackda, three loving children Souvanny Woodall, Susada Sackda and Sitthi Sackda, two brothers Ouneheuane Mecksavanh and Phonsack Mecksavanh, five sisters Chansouk Sirivong, Chanthanom Arounsack, Manichan Khamvongsa, Thavone Mecksavanh and Somphone Mecksavanh, three cherished  grandchildren Kobe, Courtney, and Troy and many nieces and nephews.
 Friends and family are invited to attend her funeral services on Saturday at 9:00 a.m. at the Cyril F. Mullins Funeral Home, 399 White Plains Rd. Trumbull. Cremation to follow in Lakeview Cemetery. Friends and family may call on Friday from 4-8 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made for the wishes of the family through the funeral director.
