Carole R. Bednarik, age 75, of Trumbull, passed away peacefully, June 20, 2017 at St. Joseph's Manor, in Trumbull. Mrs. Bednarik was born in Waterbury, CT, to the late Walter and Helen Rzanca. She devoted her life to helping others, as shown in her work, at various jobs during her lifetime, including student aide at Trumbull High School, as a job coach at Goodwill, and as a telephone operator at MA Bell. She was a sweet, kind and generous lady, who leaves behind the many dear friends, she had made over the course of her life. She was predeceased by her husband, Allan Phillip Bednarik. Survivors include her son, Michael Allan Bednarik, and his wife Christine Hegedus-Bednarik of Meriden, CT, and her daughter, Mary Kohlmann, and her husband, David Kohlmann of Santa Fe, New Mexico; and two cousins Diane Saska and Lorraine Conway. Friends and family are invited to attend her funeral services on Monday, June 26th, at 9:15 a.m. at the Cyril F. Mullins Funeral Home, 399 White Plains Rd. and at 10:00 a.m. at St. Catherine of Siena Church, 190 Shelton Rd. Trumbull. Inurment in Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Friends may call on Sunday from 2-6 p.m.
