Barbara Nielsen

Barbara E. Nielsen, age 89, of Trumbull, passed away on January 30, 2018 at Middlebrook Farms. She was born in Philadelphia and was a long time area resident. She was an aide and a paraprofessional for the Trumbull School System. She was a member of the Fairifield County Power Squadron. She is survived by her children, Frederick Nielsen and his wife Pamela of Milford, Lois Miller and her husband Richard of Darien; a sister Phoebe Dey and her husband Charles of NH; two grandchildren Michael and Laura Miller; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Dr. Peter A. Nielsen; her sister Gwen Keppler. A memorial service will be held on Saturday February 24, at 1:00 p.m. at Christ Episcopal Church Tashua 5170 Madison Avenue Trumbull. Interment will follow at the church. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Cyril F. Mullins Funeral Home, 399 White Plains Rd. Trumbull.
