Thomas James Kochis, age 75, of Shelton, passed away May 11, 2017 in St. Vincent's Medical Center. Mr. Kochis was born in Bridgeport, CT to the late Paul and Jennie (Berta) Kochis. He was a retired machine operator for Handy & Harman. He was also a navy veteran. Mr. Kochis was an avid bingo player at many area churches including Our Lady of Grace in Stratford, Holy Rosary Church and Church of the Assumption both in Ansonia. He was predeceased by his beloved wife Diane Marie (Lewis) Kochis. Survivors include his devoted daughters Dina Kozlowski (husband Andrew) of Derby and Stephanie Villalobos  (husband Victor) of Shelton; three cherished grandchildren Victoria and Jacob Villalobos and Chloe Kozlowski; five brothers and sisters, Yolanda Tuz (husband Nick), Paul Kochis (wife Julie), Gloria Smith (husband Tom), Jack Kochis (wife Helen) and Valerie Adintori (longtime companion Leslie Wargo) and many nieces and nephews. Friends and family are invited to attend his funeral services on Monday at 9:45 a.m. at the Cyril  F. Mullins Funeral Home, 399 White Plains Rd. Trumbull and at 10:30 a.m. at St. Lawrence Church, 505 Shelton Rd. Trumbull. Interment in Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Friends may call on Sunday from 4 to 8 p.m.
