John Iacovelli, age 100, of Bridgeport, passed away June 26, 2017 in Bridgeport Hospital. Mr. Iacovelli was born in Fairfield, CT to the late Ippolito  and Theresa Iacovelli. He was a retired insurance adjuster. He was also a WWII army veteran. He was predeceased by his sisters Isabelle Pilieri, Rose Simpson and Marge Talarino and his brother Joseph Iacovelli. Survivors include his nieces and nephews John Simpson, Donna Knight, Marita Giovanni Simpson, Margaret Deer, Philip Talarino, Barbara Vitale, Maria Orfino, James Iacovelli and Theresa Iacovelli. Friends and family are invited to attend his funeral services on Tuesday, July 11, 2017 at  10:00 a.m. at the Cyril F. Mullins Funeral Home, 399 White Plains Rd. Trumbull. Interment will be private.
