Dear Young Family, Truly saddened to hear the news of your Dad passing. We just learned and are heart broken. Just called a few weeks ago to tell 'Dad' we would be down this coming weekend and planned to take him to dinner but he had other plans! This is so hard we know and send HUGE hugs and love your way. Your Mom and Dad were very special people and they are now together as we know how much your Dad missed his wife. He loved you all and had such a great disposition, taught us each day to smile and be friendly to all. He loved life and his family. Love and deep sympathy to you all, xoxo

A visit to my O'Brien cousin's house was always a fun time. The first time Uncle Jerry came over, I didn't know what all the excitement was about. "Uncle Jerry is here!!!"That was until I met Uncle Jerry.
A happy, smiling guy arrived creating an excited greeting of all the O'Brien children. Uncle Jerry was a delightful, fun, happy man. I'm sorry for all who knew him. It is a great loss to anyone who has ever known him. Loved you Uncle Jerry. You will be missed by all.

Sending Comfort and Prayers and Thanks for the caring love Jerry was given by his family and friends, as he also freely gave out to others. I'll miss his smile and going to the Fish Fry dinners and his telling me to be sure and "behave'.

To the family and friends of Gerald please accept my deepest condolences. In God's word the Bible is a wonderful promise for the loved ones we have lost in death to be fulfilled through his son Jesus Christ John 3:16; 5:28,29 and Revelation 21:3,4.

With heavy hearts we want to send our deepest sympathy to Jerry's family. Jerry & Pauline's wedding, their children's baptisms, family picnics, sharing trips with Jerry and Pauline, and Jerry and Charles's friendship for close to 80 years, will long be remembered and are some of the golden threads in our tapestry of life.
