Arlene Kurtz, age 72, of Shelton, passed away April 25, 2017 in Griffin Hospital. Mrs. Kurtz was born in Dickson City, PA to the late Edward and Victoria Lukowski. She was a retired nurse at St. Vincent's Medical Center and a member of the Red Hat Society. She was predeceased by her husband David Kurtz, her son Michael Wheaton, her brothers Thomas, Robert and Edward Lukowski, her sister Joan Roche and her sister-in-law Elizabeth Lukowski. Survivors include her son Roy Wheaton and his wife Enid Perez of FL; two brothers Gerald J. Lukowski and James Lukowski and his wife Gabriele all of Seymour; several grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Friends and family are invited to attend her funeral services on Friday at 11:00 a.m. at the Cyril F. Mullins Funeral Home, 399 White Plains Rd. Trumbull. Interment in Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Friends may call on Thursday from 4-8 p.m.
